UrbanThings is heading to Transport Ticketing Global next week
January 23, 2020
UrbanThings will be exhibiting at Transport Ticketing Global 2020 in London next week. The exhibition and conference at Kensington Olympia is one of the major transport ticketing events of the year, and draws in over 1200 attendees from across the globe.
UrbanThings CEO Carl Partridge will be presenting at Theater 2 on the first day of the conference. He will explore how operators can ensure they remain relevant and competitive in a fast-changing industry by using technology to future-proof their operations. Carl will be joined on stage by John Threlfall from Lancashire-based operator Pilkington Bus who have already implemented their smart ticketing solution. He’ll talk through some of their challenges and key outcomes since switching to Ticketless™.
Carl Partridge said “At UrbanThings, we believe mobile has the potential to completely replace all ticketing hardware and infrastructure. Whether you run a large network with onboard hardware or a smaller, interchangeable fleet, we will highlight how every operator can benefit from frictionless mobile ticketing and its associated data.”
UrbanThings will also be exhibiting at the event, and will be showcasing our white-labelled passenger app on the now infamous ‘giant smartphone’. We will also be demonstrating our cloud-based back office and mobility platform. Delegates will be able to see for themselves the power of rich passenger data, and what this could mean for their operations.
If you are attending Transport Ticketing Global next week, be sure to pop by the UrbanThings stand (A13), and you can catch Carl Partridge on stage on Tues Jan 28th at 14:35 at Theatre 2.
