Hex Tag

Hex Tags are our newest innovation that replaces costly on-board hardware and allow a passenger’s smartphone to act as the ticket validator. Fast, secure and deployable anywhere in an instant.

Our low-cost Hex Tag stickers are placed onto vehicles at entry points, which passengers then scan or tap with their smartphones to check in. These industrial-grade tags support QR and NFC on both iOS and Android devices.

Hex Tags can also be upgraded to a beacon-enabled solution providing Check-in/Be-out and Be-in/Be-out travel. Passengers simply leave the vehicle and are automatically checked out without touching their devices. Ticketless tracks their journey and offers them the best price.

Ticketless On Board

Providing AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) doesn’t have to rely on expensive on-board GPS hardware or fixed technology. Ticketless On Board is our lightweight app for staff and drivers that enables vehicle location tracking, RTI feedback, walk-round vehicle inspection and shift management tools.

Ticketless On Board sends AVL data direct to the Ticketless portal so your operations team can receive up-to-date vehicle locations for use in fleet management and tracking. Our integrated mobility portal centralises the data being generated and delivers this to staff in a meaningful way, with live fleet trackers, routing information and ticket sales details.

The AVL data generated from Ticketless On Board feeds directly back into the Ticketless passenger app, so your passengers can benefit from accurate real-time information.

Ticketless is an account-based travel and ticketing solution. Our technology enables MaaS by linking together several operators or modes of transport, and can still provide a frictionless experience for the passengers.

The Ticketless app can be set up to allow passengers the option of purchasing multimodal tickets, and they can see real-time travel information for several operators or modes of transport at once. Tickets can be validated with various check-in methods i.e EMV or our Hex Tag technology, so that operators can use what works best for them.

Extending ticketing to include multiple operators can provide a lucrative way for operators to access additional riders and bridge the first mile/last mile gap. The inclusion of active travel options can promote a healthy and more environmentally friendly approach, whilst ensuring that traditional operators retain a customer relationship.
