TravelMaster App now offers live bus updates for effortless commuting
TravelMaster, the commercial organisation owned and operated by the region’s transport companies, introduces the availability of live bus information on its transport app. This latest feature aims to provide passengers with real-time updates, making their travel experience smoother and more convenient.
The TravelMaster app, deployed by transport technology expert UrbanThings, was initially designed to simplify the digital ticketing process. It offers commuters a single platform for purchasing and loading tickets onto their TravelMaster smartcards. Since its launch, the app has sold over a million pounds in tickets in less than a year, demonstrating its popularity among users.
Building on this success, TravelMaster and UrbanThings have continuously sought passenger feedback to introduce innovative features. The addition of live bus information is a direct result of this collaborative effort, ensuring passengers have access to real-time data for a more seamless journey.
