Compass Travel unveils new website to enhance passenger experience
Celebrating 30 years of service with a user-friendly digital upgrade
South East based independent operator Compass Travel has launched a new website designed to significantly enhance the passenger experience.

Developed in partnership with transport technology specialists UrbanThings, the newly designed platform provides passengers across East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton & Hove and Surrey with easy access to real-time service updates, timetables, and ticket information.
Celebrating three decades of providing bus services, Compass Travel operates 101 bus routes with a fleet of 87 vehicles. The new website reflects the company’s commitment to evolving alongside the needs of its passengers, offering a sleek, mobile-friendly design that ensures quick access to essential travel details, making journeys easier and more user friendly.
“We’ve spent 30 years delivering local bus services, and this new website takes our passenger experience to the next level,” said Michael Bishop, Director of Compass Travel. “Whether you’re planning a journey or checking real-time service updates, our aim is to provide passengers with all the information they need at their fingertips, making travel simpler and more convenient.”
The launch of the website follows the success of the Compass Travel app, also developed by UrbanThings, which allows passengers to plan, track, and manage their journeys with ease. With both the app and the new website working together, Compass Travel ensures a unified, efficient digital experience for passengers across both platforms.
Nicole Easden, Business Development Manager of UrbanThings commented: “A strong online presence is key for modern transport operators. This new website helps Compass Travel better service its passengers with a more user-friendly experience.”
The redesigned website and app reinforce Compass Travel’s and UrbanThings’ shared vision to provide innovative digital solutions that improve journey planning and make transportation services more accessible and responsive to passengers’ needs.
