NiBS Buses Ltd and Stephensons of Essex Ltd introduce new apps and websites
Bus passengers across the east of England can now enjoy smoother, more convenient travel thanks to the launch of new mobile apps and website upgrades from NiBS Buses Ltd and Stephensons of Essex Ltd.

Developed in partnership with transport technology provider UrbanThings, the apps – available now on iOS and Android – allow passengers to check live bus arrival times and purchase tickets directly from their smartphones, reducing reliance on paper tickets.
The new websites provide a user-friendly way to access key travel information, making it easier for passengers to plan travel, purchase tickets and access important service information such as service delays and alerts.
NiBS Buses Ltd and Stephensons of Essex Ltd have also introduced an operator portal to enhance service management and passenger communication, ensuring passengers receive up-to-date travel information.
Dean Robbie, Managing Director at NiBS Buses Ltd and Stephensons of Essex Ltd said: “Reliable, real-time information is key to a great passenger experience. The digital tools we’re rolling out today will allow our customers to travel with confidence, knowing they have all the information they need at their fingertips.”
Adam Maher, Head of Sales at UrbanThings shares: “Technology plays a key role in making public transport more accessible and reliable. We’re pleased to partner with NiBS and Stephensons to deliver a digital platform that gives passengers more control over their journeys.”
The apps are now available for download on the App Store and Google Play, and the new websites will be live and ready for use from Friday, 9th May.
